A:The operation system of the software must install DirectX9.0. If the hard disk exceeds 120 G, Windows 2000 operation system should have enough disk patch, and Windows XP should update to SP2. Updating the operation system to the newest version would be better.
A:The reasons are as following:
1.Card has been damaged.
2.The card is not compatible with the main board.
3.The card is not compatible with the main board and Windows XP system.
Solutions are as following:
First, test the card, if still doesn’t work, then, uninstall Windows XP system, install Windows 2000, if the problem still hasn’t been solved, the card is indeed not compatible with the main board.
If the problem can be solved after changing the operation system, maybe the DVR driver is too old; you should update the version of DVR driver.
A: Please check the video cable whether it interfaces well, check the PCI interface. Maybe you can change another PCI slot to have a test. You can test VGA card by Direct Draw to check whether the VGA card is compatible with main board, sometimes, there is no image because of the compatible GVA card. If the GVA card can pass Direct Draw test, which means GVA card has no problem. Then, maybe the main board has been damaged; you should change another one to test.
A:Yes, the CPU is not enough so that they work slowly. The solutions are as following:
1.Reset the video parameter, change the resolution 640*480 to 352*288,or reduce the frame of less important picture.
2. Install a better CPU with good configuration.
A:You couldn’t drag the video because it is recording at that time, if stop recording, then drag well.
A: 1. You haven’t set recording mode (continuing recording, movable recording), you can add recording mode through selecting settings—time recording.
2. The disk space is not enough, the errors f disk cause statistical mistakes by system. It will works well after scanning the disk.
A:Select settings—remote surveillance of user option, open monitoring-able cameras to someone you like.
A: Default save directory C:\gvdvr\picture.
A:Because the image changes violently after connecting with PTZ camera, which leads to occupy more CPU space. The more PTZ cameras we connect, the more CPU space we occupy. That’s why system always halted. The problem can be solved after improving the resource distribution.
A:In general, these problems are caused by software conflicting or hardware compatible. Please check the system whether it has such problems, and set the system strictly according to our instruction book.
A:Because it quits abnormal, the system process hasn’t stopped in normal. Please wait for releasing system process or restart the computer, then I will works well.
A:The record files has been saved in the specified path by the user,and a index file has been saved in the same time. playback system must playback the videos according to this index file ,so if the index file not exist or has been moved, the DVR can not playback the records even the record file exist. so backup the "filelist" folder which under the DVR installation directory,and copy it back when your reinstall the DVR.
